二〇二六年三月九日,在法國巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部一號會議廳,「地球母親 天下母親 世界和平大會」正式開幕。本次會議由以下單位共同主辦:馬達加斯加共和國駐聯合國教科文組織常駐代表團、世界佛教徒聯誼會、淨空之友社、澳洲淨宗學院以及世界各地淨宗學會。來自世界各地的嘉賓、學者及宗教界代表齊聚一堂,共同探討女性在和平建設、多元文化對話與當代社會倫理發展中的重要角色。

開幕式匯聚多位國際重要嘉賓與代表發表致辭:

聯合國教科文組織大會主席 孔德克・M・塔哈 先生閣下;聯合國教科文組織副總幹事 奧薩・夏洛特・雷格內爾 女士閣下;日本前首相 鳩山由紀夫 先生閣下;馬達加斯加共和國前總統 赫里・拉賈奧納里曼皮亞尼納 先生閣下;馬達加斯加共和國常駐聯合國教科文組織代表團參贊 安德里亞諾姆·拉科托馬南佐阿 先生;聯合國教科文組織第48屆世界遺產委員會主席、前教科文組織執行局主席 李炳炫 先生閣下;國際女性外交組織(Women4Diplomacy International)創始主席、聯合國教科文組織第36屆大會主席 卡塔琳・博焦伊 女士閣下;世界佛教徒聯誼會主席 帕洛普・泰阿瑞 先生;淨空之友社主席、聯合國教科文組織第31屆大會主席、世界遺產公約前主席 艾哈邁德・賈拉利 先生閣下;澳洲淨宗學院教務長、淨空老和尚百歲誕辰暨圓寂四週年追思紀念大會籌備委員會總召集人 悟道法師。

多位嘉賓在致辭中強調:文明之間對話的重要性、女性在建構和平社會中的關鍵角色,以及各國與不同文化之間共同承擔的責任,攜手推動和諧與相互理解。

在開幕式之後,隨即舉行多場專題論壇,邀請來自不同文化背景的學者、宗教領袖與實務工作者,共同探討女性在多元宗教對話、多元文化合作,以及人工智能時代倫理發展中的領導角色。

二〇二六年三月十日在法國巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部一號會議廳,「地球母親 天下母親 世界和平大會」圓滿落幕。本次會議由以下單位共同主辦:馬達加斯加共和國駐聯合國教科文組織常駐代表團、世界佛教徒聯誼會、淨空之友社、澳洲淨宗學院以及世界各地淨宗學會。在大會最後一天,來自世界各地的學者、宗教領袖及各界代表持續就教育、文化與世界和諧等議題展開深入交流。

 

早上的議程首先舉行專題論壇「淨空老法師於聯合國教科文組織推動傳統文化」。與會嘉賓回顧淨空老法師多年來在聯合國教科文組織推動和平教育、倫理道德教育以及宗教間對話的努力,並指出倫理、道德與因果教育是建立和諧社會的重要基礎。

隨後舉行的論壇探討多元宗教與多元文化教育議題。與會學者與實務工作者分享跨文化教育如何促進相互理解、尊重文化多樣性,並促進不同群體之間的和平共處。

下午議程中,舉行合作備忘錄簽署儀式,由世界佛教大學與泰國詩納卡寧威洛大學簽署合作備忘錄,並在世界佛教徒聯誼會及世界佛教青年聯誼會見證下完成。

大會同時關注青年世代的角色,並舉行「未來領袖與青年」專題論壇。來自不同國家的青年代表分享對和平、慈悲與文化理解的願景。

在最後一場論壇中,與會者探討跨宗教與多元文化合作的實踐模式,並以澳洲圖文巴的跨宗教合作經驗為案例,說明透過基層社群合作,能夠促進社會和諧與社區凝聚力。

At UNESCO Headquarters, Room I, in Paris, France, Mother Earth, Mother of All, The International Conference for World Harmony was officially launched. The conference was jointly organized by The Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Madagascar to UNESCO, The World Fellowship of Buddhists, Master Chin Kung Association for Peace and Harmony Development, Pure Land Learning College Association Australia, and Amitabha Buddhist Association Worldwide. Distinguished guests, scholars, and representatives from many countries gathered here to discuss the role of women in peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, and ethical development in contemporary society.

The opening ceremony address brought together distinguished leaders and representatives:

H.E. Mr. Khondker M Talha, President of the General Conference of UNESCO; H.E. Ms. Åsa Charlotte Regnér, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO; H.E. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Former Prime Minister of Japan; H.E. Mr. Hery Rajaonarimampianina, Former President of the Republic of Madagascar; Mr. Andrianome Rakotomanantsoa, Counsellor to the Permanent Delegation of Republic of Madagascar to UNESCO; H.E. Mr. Lee Byong-hyun, Chairperson of the 48th Session of the World Heritage Committee and Former Chairperson of UNESCO’s Executive Board; H.E. Mrs. Katalin Bogyay, Founding President of Women4Diplomacy International and President of the 36th Session of the General Conference of UNESCO; Mr. Phallop Thaiarry, President of the World Fellowship of Buddhists; H.E. Mr. Ahmad Jalali, President of the Master Chin Kung Association for Peace and Harmony Development, President of the 31st General Conference of UNESCO, and Former President of the World Heritage Convention; and Venerable Master Wu Dao, Dean of Studies of Pure Land Learning College Assoc. Inc., Australia and Chief Convener of the Preparatory Committee for the Centenary of Venerable Master Chin Kung.

In their speeches, the speakers emphasized the importance of dialogue among civilizations, the crucial role of women in building peaceful societies, and the shared responsibility of nations and cultures to work together for harmony and mutual understanding.

Following the opening ceremony, several thematic panels were held, bringing together scholars, religious leaders, and practitioners from different cultural backgrounds to explore women’s leadership in interfaith dialogue, intercultural cooperation, and ethical development in the age of artificial intelligence.

These discussions highlighted that women play an essential role in promoting dialogue, education, and reconciliation, and that inclusive cooperation among religions and cultures is an important path toward sustainable peace. Inspired by the teachings of Venerable Master Chin Kung, participants reaffirmed that education rooted in ethics, morality, and Causality can guide humanity toward a more peaceful and harmonious future.

On the final day of the conference, distinguished scholars, religious leaders, and representatives from many countries continued the dialogue on education, culture, and global harmony.

The morning session began with a thematic panel entitled “Venerable Master Chin Kung’s Traditional Culture Promotion at UNESCO.” Speakers reflected on Master Chin Kung’s long-standing efforts to promote education for peace, ethics, morality, and interreligious dialogue at UNESCO. They emphasized that education in ethics, morality, and causality is an essential foundation for building a harmonious society.

 

The following panel focused on education in multifaith and multicultural contexts. Scholars and practitioners discussed how intercultural education can foster mutual understanding, respect for cultural diversity, and peaceful coexistence among different communities.

 

In the afternoon, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the World Buddhist University and Srinakharinwirot University of Thailand, with the witness of the World Fellowship of Buddhists and the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth.

 

The conference also highlighted the role of youth through a special panel on future leaders and youth. Young speakers from different countries shared their visions for peace, compassion, and cultural understanding.

 

The final session focused on practical models of interfaith and multicultural cooperation, using the experience of Toowoomba, Australia as a case study to illustrate how grassroots cooperation can strengthen community harmony and social cohesion.

In their remarks, the speakers emphasized that dialogue, education, and cooperation among cultures and religions are essential pathways toward global harmony. Inspired by the teachings of Venerable Master Chin Kung, participants reaffirmed that education rooted in ethics, morality, and causality will continue to guide humanity toward a more peaceful, compassionate, and harmonious future. The conference concluded successfully, with participants expressing their shared mission to continue strengthening dialogue, cooperation, and peace among nations.
